Hello and thanks for any help.

I have a Fender XII 12 string Strat from Japan and I could use some facts on 12 string tuning just to make sure I get it right.

Which strings are Octave tuned, and which ones are "Equal"?

It is a candy red color and the serial starts with E then 6 numbers .Any idea what the year is?

Thanks for any help

Low E, A, D and G strings are all octaved - high E and B are "equal." Your high string on the G should be a #8 - I found this out the hard way... #9 or larger will not stand the strain.

Enjoy that 12!
