In the spirit of the new year I've been looking at things I want to accomplish in 2012 and improving my playing is always big. Issues for me are I have two young children and it leaves me maybe an our or two a day to really set up and play. I want to make the best use of my time so I was wondering what any of you do to structure your practice? Currently I'm trying to learn new music all of the time. Various bits and pieces of songs I can find tab for or YouTube vids. My thinking is that any new riff or song will add to my arsenal of playing and make me a better player in the long run. I just don't want to waste my valuable time. Any suggestions would be great. Best wishes for the new year my friends!
