Why did they stop making these?! They are to me the best looking Rickenbackers. They're based off the RIC bass design.

I never was fond of the 480 etc. or the 620s either as I always prefered the 320,320/12 ,325,350, 330,330/12 and 360/12 of course they'd had to have toaster pups as that what gives you the authentic Beatlesque jangle.

I'm not a fan of these, they just look like basses to me and don't look right as guitars. One of the guitarists with British band Kasabian plays one. Not my thing.

Don't like them. I've always thought they had a sort of silly Pretentious look about them. Of course that has nothing to do with them from a players point of view. I'll stick with my A.M.S. & M.I.M. Strat's 8)
