I just recently snagged a Japanese made mid '90's Seymour Duncan brand (yes, brand) ESP made Tele clone, and I am VERY impressed. Apparently, these were only made for the Japanese market, they do NOT carry the ESP logo, and from the ONE source I could find on Google, the guitars are no longer made-though apparently basses still are under the Seymour Duncan logo, but they're apparently not the same as the earlier Fender clones.

Question: why doesn't Fender get together with Seymour Duncan for a similar 'Seymourized' line here for sale in the US? I'd think it'd be a nice fit between the Mexican and US made lines, or even an addition to the US models. And does anyone else have one of these like mine?
