Thanks everyone!

In fact before I asked this question I knew the main answer is - - - - practice, practice, practice. And I do agree with that!


Miami Mike.....I will continue to do the "Cowboy chords" as mentioned.

Also, I like the idea of playing a record or CD at the same time.

Lastly, Ceallach stated to play the song so often that you don't have to think about it.

Perhaps . . . I can bring this post back from the grave by submitting a YOU TUBE clip . . . . In the meantime......I will practice!

Again, thanks for your response and expertise on this!

Well, there it is. :)

I used to watch the players in bands wishing I could be up there doing it myself. I practiced on my own and later with a band until I could play/sing/and look out the window without having to think about it.
