Thanks guys.

Well I found out a couple of new things, taking a pee is easier if you sit down like a Girl.

I need to train my Rottweiler to stop attacking and chewing at my crutches.

Don't go jogging at the start of your Annual Leave holiday break.

Hi Snowy, same thing exactly happened to me this morning, apart from an audible "crack". I assumed that I wouldn't have been able to make it home if it was broken... but from the way it feels now I'm starting to wonder. Swollen up like a balloon. Mrs mondo wants to kill me as we've planned a two week family holiday starting Sunday... nice beach house with 30 steps leading down to the beach :(

Hope you're back on your feet again as soon as possible — "Not Fun" is a typical Aussie understatement... heh.

Hi mate, major bummer, that's bad news I feel for you.

Mine was broken (Fibula). It's the thinner of the two leg bones, the one on the outer side of your leg. It broke at the bottom near the ankle. I managed to get back home with amost zero weight bearing on it, but I had sweat p*ssing out of me by the time I got home  I think it was just adrenaline that got me back home, after hearing/feeling the "crack" I think the adrenaline kicked in big time since I knew I had no choice and started worrying a bit as no-one was around to help.

Anyway, you probably should get it checked, hopefully it might just be a bad sprain but better safe than sorry.

Sounds like a nice holiday spot you have planned too!

The understatement thing just comes naturally for us doesn't it? Kind of appeals to our sense of humour.

First thing I did when I got back from the hospital was consume a couple of Ice Cold Cascades. I felt better then. :D
