Hello and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Here is my question. I got 4 new pedals for X-mas.

Behringer Tuner, Vibrato, Delay, and Tube Amp Modeler. I put them in this order...Tuner, Delay, Vibrato and then Amp. While looking thru some old boxes I found a Cheap Wah Wah pedal. If I want to use this pedal, were do I put it in the line of pedal???

Thanks for the help:-)

I think generally you put a wah first in the signal chain (but still after the tuner obviously), thats not to say you shouldn't experiment and find what works best for you.

Tochai,

thanks for the answer. Could I damage a pedal if I put them in any order?

Thanks Again,

No, you won't damage anything.

Tochai is right, generally you put a wah first--HOWEVER, I like an overdrive before my wah to warm it up and make it a bit more funky sounding...I have a TS9 TubeScreamer before my wah and an MXR M-66 Classic Overdrive after the wah, so I get the best of both worlds (before and/or after).

You didn't mention an overdrive pedal, so if your amp has a gain, overdrive or distortion effect built in, you're getting the sound of "after" only (not that that's a bad thing)...
Congrats on your new stuff...do you have pics of your new pedals?

fasteddy333, congrats on your new pedals! Many guitarists I know put the wah pedal at the end, their explanation to me was "your wah will bend the guitar sound so you don't want to bend that sound before it goes into another pedal". Made sense to me, YMMV.

Depends on what you like. Sometimes I go before sometimes after. There are no rules when it comes to effect order. That's how great sounds are made. By experimenting. Try it and see what you like better.

The consensus is always wah first but as stated try it before or after the distortion. I'm new to pedals myself and it is a whole new world. All I was worried about before was guitars then the amp world opens up and ow pedals. There are entire sites dedicated to pedals, it's insane but that's what makes playing the guitar so much fun.

Finally bought myself a present. I got an Ibanez Flanger FL9 at the local GC. Deeply discounted because it's being discontinued. I wanted a stereo pedal but the price was too good.

That's a great load of gifts to get.I generally put my distortion/overdrive devices first then the wah, followed by modulation devices such as Tremolo, vibrato, phaser and flanger and then dead last my delay pedal of course in your case the amp modeling pedal would go last.BTW if using a tuner that can always go first instead of the disortion etc.
