It's 3 C (37F) here today and most of the snow we got on Christmas Eve has melted. That's the only time of year that I like to see snow, from Christmas Eve to New Years Day or Old Christmas Day (Jan6). I'd love to live in a climate where it was about 30 C year 'round and just come to Newfoundland to visit for about 2 wks. around Christmas and about 8 weeks of summer (July and August).Anybody want to time share houses? I'll leave most of my toys out for you to play with and for incentive to swap.

Whoa, the heatwave in mainland Australia has moved south.

High 30s (c) in Tasmania today, unheard of.

I saw a group of local Penguins queuing at the servo to buy bags of ice.

Good beach weather :D

It's "Indian Summer" in Montana... right now it's -4(25) going for 6 (52) this afternoon... about 3F higher than ever recorded on Jan 4th....

The mountains have snow cover down to below 5000 feet, and the valley looks like early fall except for a few shady spots that still have a bit of snow/ice hanging in there...

The ski resorts are booming, especially since they were able to open nearly a month early this season...
