what looks like is gonna be another dry hot summer has started. last time i checked, about 43 C today, with very little humidity. all the grass in the paddocks near us is officially yellow with no life. in the main street, the road was so hot the fire brigade was hosing it down with cold water to make it drivable.
man i wish i lived in QL

whats the weather like where you live?

Yeah, pretty hot here mate. I doesn't get much hotter than 30c down here in Tas due to the constant sea-breeze. Still better than snow I guess. The beaches are packed with tourists. 8)

I live in the USA. So it really gets to be summer in Australia when we have winter up here?
Please confirm this notion.
Also, which way does the water rotate when it goes down a sink drain?
Which way when you flush?

Just be glad you are warm there. It is getting chilly here. Have a great summer!

yes. much rather be in winter than summer though.
interestingly enough, it doesnt go any way, it just goes down  and even if it did spin, the way it span wouldn't be determined by the magnetic poles of the earth

I'm just to the north east of you only about 500,000 miles. Look for the pacific North West of the US, Seattle & Puget sound. It's 45*F a little windy and wet. It could very easily be this way for the next 3 months. then if Spring comes there may be 3 more months of the same. Then if summer comes there could be little change.

Warm out today. Warm yesterday. Even warmer today.
Met her on my CB Said her name was Mimi / Sounded like an angel come to Earth (Come to Earth) / When I went to meet her Man, you should've seen her / Twice as tall as me Three times the girth. My house is at like 20 degrees, or at least my room is. I still manage to overheat somehow.

You guys are lucky, here in the western part of New York we got almost 12 inches of snow last night and its only 25 degrees F. So now I have to dress nice and warm to go out and plow with my 4wheeler, but its better than shoveling. Enjoy your summer.

Two days ago it was 52 degrees and sunny - today it is 18 degrees, windy as can be and the sun isn't helping even a little. Winter is finally upon us.

Danny, you can't be 500,000 miles from anyone! It's only 25,000 miles around the earth's equator!

It's -4C here, still the snow is disappearing through sublimation and sun melt...

Beautiful bright sun with some scattered clouds right now!

I'll be working on my tractor later (30HP New Holland diesel)... getting my 7 foot back blade remounted so I can head down toward the county road and scrape off some of the ice hiding on the south side of the hill..

I'll probably be holding my breath when I open her case... till I see how my Baby Taylor did in the back seat last night...

She doesn't mind the cold all that much being laminated... but I still worry<G>
