So, I just realized that I'm going to buy a Jaguar, but I need some help!

These guitars can be somewhat hard to come by, so reissue is my option here.
I have trouble finding out what the deal is pickupwise between these two Jaguars:

The Thin Skin '62 (a rare line? I just found these in a handful of shops)

The American Vintage '62

I really dig the tone on the American vintage '62, demonstrated through a marshall amp here:

But since the specifications seem a bit lacking, I need some help on this.
I won't buy something I don't know the sound of, so I have this pickup issue..

Appreciate any help here!
Andrew:)

Andrew...it appears that the guitar in the link being played through the Marshall looks like it is a AVRI 62 Jaguar. All the AVRI are now "Thin Skins" and have much more meticulous specs to be much more accurate to the guitars they are reissues for. These guitars are highly recommended. The specs for the AVRI are available on this site. This guitar should be what it sounds like what your looking for.

By the way welcome to the Forum. Lots of good info here. You might try to post this under the "Other Fender Guitars" section and you may get a faster response and also may find people who are experts on this model. FWIW.
