Location: Sunnyvale, CA
The owner of a store in S.San Fran that I was in last week told me that he was in both the Mex and USA plants and was told that both the necks and the bodies were made in the US.

The bodies and necks were finished and assembled in the Mex plants for MIM - this included the fretwork, hardware, pups, etc. Only the wood came from USA.

I'm with Gravity Jim on this one. I don't care where it's made, how many pieces were used to make it. If it sounds and plays good you have a good guitar.
