My project is almost finished! Yaaaaay!

But I have a serious question about soldering to the jack.

Is it white to the outside or black to the outside? (You know, the prongs that hold the wire for the jack. there's 2 rings, one prong in each ring, one on the inside of one ring, the other outside)

Thanks for the help, pics when it's assembled.

white, or live goes to the tip of the plug and black or earth goes to the main shaft, im not sure if you talking about a cable or a guitar jack...

Here's the jack.

The prong that is right across from where the cable registers is the outer one and the prong diagonal to it is the inner one.

In all three cases, I have the white wire soldered to the outside contact.

I think I did pretty well. It registered with a scratch test on all 3 pickups and all 5 positions :D

Would love to see a picture of the finished product, you did something I've been itching to do myself :)

Not very pretty, but it works.
