Easy peasy answer ~

Abbey Road, which despite being their last recorded album, reveals the band to still be fresh, bold and innovative. They finished leaving a high water mark.

The medley that concludes side 2 is magical work. Sgt Pepper runs it very, very close, but for me Abbey Rd is the cream of the crop.

Best album of all time? No chance. I have 7 contenders, all the best, all for different reasons. But Abbey Rd is one of those 7..

Out of all the Beatles albums, I would probably have to pick:

A Hard Day's Night

It is the album where the early Beatles wrote incredible songs and Beatlemania was at its peak all over the world.

Maxwell's Silver Hammer? I like where Paul laughs at the writing 50 times part. I like the song. :)

I've never been a fan of " OOMPA OOMPA " music, and I don't even want to know the meaning of the lyrics.
Stlll, it is what it is. I don't think it ruins the album.
On CD, I like the way that the madness of "She's so heavy'' leads into the comforting intro of ''Here comes the sun".
There won't be any war mate.

I didn't. I took for granted everyone was talking about Octopus's Garden. Obviously! :lol:

Poor Ringo...

Anyway, great though Abbey Road is, SK was right straight out the trap: Rubber Soul is the best. One of the rare, rare perfect albums.

IMHO, YMMV.

The white album (the Beatles) has some great songs, but as an album it just doesn't flow.
It's sounds like they're all going their own way, which they were.
I think the track "Long,Long,Long" is amongst George's finest.

my favorite beatles album is magical mystery tour...mostly because it includes penny lane which is my favorite beatles song.

also, i like it because it was thrown together for various reasons, with the core of it as the soundtrack from the magical mystery tour movie.
