Last night the veteran sidekick of Johnny Weismuller in many Tarzan movies passed away at 80 years of age and he never spoke as much as a single word in any movies yet he was a beloved star.It was in fact Cheetah The Chimp who simply died of old age at a special compound for retired showbiz animals in Florida.RIP Cheetah.

Wow! I didn't even know Cheetah was still alive at this late date,I figured he would have been long gone.

And they say that 80 years is in real time like a human. I was surprised to hear that Chimps lived that long. RIP to Tarzan's little buddy. I remember a line from one of those old movies. " Tarzan like Jane, Jane like Chita".
