this is the only forum i regularly go to.

the reasons are many:

i love fender products. got my first in 1962, and my last 2 years ago.

the folks on the board are great. i learned a lot from them, and i enjoy the banter. my questions have always been answered.

a great place to see what's new from fender. many times stores cannot carry everything fender offers, so you can find it here

There are plenty of forums not owned or run by gear makers/sellers...

I think it serves a dual purpose, this site more than others seems to have a community feel to it. by having a friendly website and keeping it up to date it does give very positive fender brand loyalty (for me at least). i came here because i have a fender guitar and love the hell out of it, and recently got a nice fender tube amp (sitting at home waiting for my return to the states). Did this site help influence my decision? of course... i like the site, i like the members here and i often look at the products with gas. But it is not the only reason i buy Fender, they make a great product and i support them with my dollar. So i guess my long winded answer is both.

I've learned an immense amount from everyone here. Whether just reading threads or asking questions. Thanks. I do miss seeing posts from Celtic Cyclonus.
