That's great Danny, you should get a nomination for Grandfather of the Year.

It looks like she is VERY happy to have her new guitar. I sent one to my 9 year old granddaughter in Kansas. We definitely need to adjust the strap

Roadie & Danny Duke! It is great to see the torch passed to the younger generations. It's pictures like these that make my day. Have a happy holiday!

For such a tiny little guitar and a squire at that, it plays remarkable well.
As good as any other squire. It's well worth the little it costs, only $100. I matched it up with a VOX VT20+ amp Wow what a cool little combination. Makes plenty good music.

I haven't gotten to see the guitar yet. I had it shipped straight to her for Christmas. I live in Alabama and my son is stationed at Fort Riley Kansas. They will be coming here for new years so hopefully they will bring the Squier so I can do a setup on it. I am excited to start giving her lessons. We will be using Skype or FaceTime to practice together each day.

Good job grandpa, lets get these little ones off to a good start. Our little one gave the wife and I our first Skype Show this morning. It was very cool. 8)

I got my daughter one for her seventh birthday. She's taking lessons and it is a surprisingly solid instrument. Plus it looks really cool. :) When you crank it up it has a really ratty, gnarly tone that's not bad at all.
