The best new release of 2011 for me has to be the debut, eponymous, album by Anna Calvi. Great songs, great playing.

Mine is Radiohead, King of Limbs - very good subtle guitar playing in that album
Bon Iver, Bon Iver is a close second. (I noticed that was someone else's favorite too)
