Hello everyone,

I am having trouble setting up my pedal chain in order that is suitable to me. I recently received two new pedals that I am having trouble fitting in and getting them to work correctly: the POG2 and the AdrenaLinn III. My pedals used to be in order from guitar to amp: Boss TU3 Chromatic Tuner, Boss Blues Driver, Keeley Katana, Aqua $@!&, and then an RC2 Loop Station. I tried putting the AdrenaLinn right before the loop pedal, but I was getting all sorts of crappy sounds when played. I might not have the correct output and what not for the pedal, but I'm not sure. If anyone has any experience with this please help, and thanks a lot.

put the boss tu2 at the end (amp side) of the chain. it'll mess everything up if it's at the beginning (guitar side). i had the same trouble, but since i've put it at the end everything works as it should... just have to remember to shut all the other pedals off before tuning the guitar.

I would be interested in hearing more discussion on this. On one of my rigs I'm running the TU-2, Boss Blues Driver, Boss Super OD, Dunlop Cry Baby, and then either a Peavey Classic 30 or Fender Blues Jr. amp and have had no issues but always open to learn more.

I've always run the tuner first in the chain. Never had a problem. Tuners don't like seeing distorted/chorused signals. Tuners are usually true bypass and shouldn't do anything to the signal after it when it's off. Effects are strange beasts and everyone has an opinion on where they belong in the chain. The real answer is wherever it sounds good to you and wherever it works. You'll need to go the process of elimination route to nail down the problem.

I ended up getting a true bypass looper and this cleaned everything up a lot. Thanks for the input!

Which Looper one did you get?

I just picked up the RC 300 and just starting to work out how to get it into my chain.
I'm still not decided whether to use the stereo channels thro' the effects loop, of the Egnator and the Bass amp, or just straight thro the drive channels.
Weird how you seem to be getting a problem with the RC2 though, I am sure they are true bypass, just like the RC300!
I use TC Electronic tuners and I don't have a problem with them either and that is the first thing I use straight after both guitars.

I meant this kind of looper, not a loop station haha.

I have always run my tuner separate on an A/B. Makes it simple don't have to worry about analog and digital being on the same power supply and no signal loss.
