Just learning how to play, and as a gift to myself I just purchased the
Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Electric Bass Guitar in Black. I am very excited to learn how to play, and very happy I choose the Fender family line to do it with.

Hope you all have a great Christmas!

Joe

Being Brand new to music and the bass, can someone tell me the reason why it has a 9 volt battery compartment on the back? Is it required I keep a battery in it? What does it do?
