She plays guitar and sings very well, she's a geek, she's not up tight, she eats food by the handful (we got one of those extra large bags of beef jerky and it was gone within a few minutes.) she's always good at cheering me up, and there's just so much more that'd probably take me a while to type up, but I've gotta wrap presents at the speed of light atm.

Don't ask, weird photos just happen.

She sounds cool, she looks cute...so why are you talking to us?

Go for it...the worst she can do is say no.

We see movies like err weekend. Also, I tried to take her to a Misfits concert back in November, but her mom said it was too unsafe

What a great time to see a thread like this. The idea anyway. Not the cousins and clowns thing that was going on. Very strange guys.

Anyway, I was actually kinda talking about this with my friend Kassie last night. You see, I've always had terrible luck with the ladies. My friend said I think too much. She said just relax and become friends with her. Know her as a person and go from there. It was the same kind of things mentioned here.

Anyway, I would just go for it. Sounds like you cant fail so take the shot.

Also to my fellow fender fans who have the same bad luck I do, my friend said this to me, "Keep doing what you like to do. It will all come in time and when its there you will know its worth the wait."

I haven't been too lucky either. I've only had a few other lady friends, no honorable mentions out of the lot.

But thats ok. See, I didn't catch your age but I believe you are a young gun like myself and guys like us tend to focus too much on being with girls and things like that in it gets in your head.

From what I can tell you about the conversation I had last night, it seems like you know this girl and you really like her. Its kind of a rarity so just do what you do because if she didnt like you at least a little she wouldnt hang out with you right?

Try not to think too hard about it and it should work out just fine.

(By the way, this advice is basically from a female friend of mine so dont think I am just pulling it out of my backside. You have this man.)

I actually decided that I am gonna take it really slow, like obese snail's pace. I don't want mess ups. Also, I'm on the SGA, so I get to organize a dance in Feb and get people in for free, etc. I'm gonna be smooth/casual and try to ask. It's a decades dance too, and I'm picking the 70s. I'm gonna break out my red leisure suit and ruffled shirt 8)

I get nervous and slur speech, that's my main worry. It happened when the cops were questioning me over the summer

Do something unique, take her out for ice cream, don't let her know what you have planned, say to her, "I've got a great idea that will be fun." Do it early, then she'll know you haven't got any ill motives. Just take your time talk to her like a friend, obviously you don't know how to talk to a girlfriend, I'm not ripping on you about that. You did say you were nervous with girls.

If your mini-date goes well take it into the evening.

Whatever you do, just have fun and relax. Girls like when guys listen, so, let her talk. The less you say, the better the chance you won't say something stupid.

Been there done that buddy.

What I meant by getting nervous was actually asking them. Its happened before, and luckily they just thought it was cute. Great advice though, although that's kinda how we hang out now.
