Prolife: What you and your little song describe is infatuation, not love. As this old song sais "Whats Love Got To Do With It". Love is an everlasting Feeling, that will never die. It has very little to do with Fluttering Hearts. And a great deal to do with Liking someone very much. If you are trying to link love to a successful Marriage, that alone wont get the job done either. A successful Marriage requires a considerable amount of hard work and commitment from both sides. A key word might be (COMPROMISE). 8)

who's cousin is a flaming doofus?

Armadillo 'Tween is the recently promoted Armadillo Child (she has entered her 'tween years), not my cousin...

However--Armadillo 'Tween, OxFan's Orangutan and I all agree: Prolife is a flaming doofus.

If three primates (one of whom is not human) agree on something, it must be true.

Wow...this thread is still going...and some of the last page or two is really out there....I just fell in love with a girl at work, she is 35 years younger and gorgeous....or is it infatuation? :? ...one thing for sure, she thinks I'm an old man.
So I fell out of love, again, that quick....it was short and intense....a feeling I haven't felt in 15 years....and I didn't even get to first base........

just kidding! she is real though....and if I was 25 years old...oh yeah!

HAPPY NEW YEAR y'all!
:D

@Danny Duke if love is everlasting no one has ever loved because no one lives forever.
@Danny Duke tina turners song was about being raped by ike turner. hence the film of the same name.
@Screamin' Armadillo define "love." as you say there is a big difference!

"It's Love, Jim, but not as we know it." 8)

Other than that: spiffing thread, with some high quality and some highly entertaining posts. ;-)

Happy new year -

Regarding your first comment to Danny Duke:
True, outside of God, no one has lived forever. But don't try to hang yourself up on semantics, you know he meant true love lasts a lifetime.
Second comment to Danny Duke:
Tina Turner did not write "WLGTDWI". It wasn't written for her. She wasn't even the first artist to record the song. It had nothing to do with Ike Turner.
Your comment to me:
After numerous posts from myself and others regarding the actual nature of love (not infatuation), any further dialog would be wasted.
Have a nice day.

Who's the celebrity, prolife?

It wasn't me that made reference to Tina Turner. I merely said "whats love got to do with it" and my question still stands 8)
