I changed the bridge pickup in my road worn player tele to a Seymour Duncan Pro lead which I did not like so I put the Tex Mex back in. In the process I had a small washer left over which had to have come from the Tex Mex pick up. The pickup has short ground wire connected to metal ring with tab, that goes over the right rear pickup height screw hole another short wire from that goes to a second tab that is screwed to the body then to the volume pot. Any I idea where the washer went?

Welcome to the Forum, Funkyard.

Please excuse Buxom, he's a bit touched in the head...or as my great aunt used to say, "The boy ain't right. He just ain't!"

My recommendation would be to remove the pickup again and see if there was a washer missing from one side or another. Sometimes the second time you look,'something will pop out at you that you missed previously.

...and if everything is seated well and there's no bad sounds, it might do to just ignore it. Save the washer back for the next disassembly/upgrade/repair.

BTW, what type of gear do you have besides the Road Worn?

...And you have to post pics or we can make rude gestures in your general direction...

Take care-- 8)

I didn't understand the question at hand. I thought he was asking people over the internet to look for something he lost. My mistake.

My suggestion is that when switching out any parts, you keep any small pieces that hold them together in separate, labeled, bags.
