Hello folks!

I just had my 1st mini jam session with my fiance. We did two songs. Stand by me by Ben E. King and Imagine by John Lennon. They are easy songs that are played on the 1st 4 frets. (I still mess up from time to time but I continue to practice)

You see, we have no fancy equipment. Just my 20 watt Crate amp and my new Telecaster. No PA's or michrophone. My fiance just sings aloud!

Honestly, I am not comfortable to say I am a guitar player. And my fiance is not a singer.

This is just a start. She is happy that I am encorparating her in my hobby.

I want to learn another song. Does anyone know of a good classic country song I can learn which is good for a beginner?

Thank you kindly!

In The Ghetto by Elvis Presley. My personal favorite Elvis song, and pretty easy if you ask me. Just play it clean or unplugged.

Buxom!

Thanks. Elvis was amazing. . . or to some . . . is still amazing! I will check out the tabs for that song.

Prolife . . . . I will look into that link too. Thanks for your input.

Screaming Armadillo . . . . well anyone with that title sure grabs my attention.
Marshall Tucker is a classic too. Thanks man!

Now I will be occupied learning some new tunes!
