hey guys i have a fender fm100h head that a friend of mine has but he has no speaker cabinet... and he wants to put one together himself... does anyone know of any cool speaker cabinet schematics? which schematic would be better? he's looking for something he could use to run on other heads

2x12, 4x12, 4x10? Going to need more to go on. Does your friend have the skills to make a cab? As shown on this forum, it ain't easy.

he was thinking 4x12... his dad is a really good carpenter he's gonna make the frame... my friend has got skills with electronics i know it ain't easy i told him that but he really wants to give it a shot what difficulties could occur during the project? (i haven't seen any topic on this but i'd like to see one if possible)...

I'd save myself the trouble and buy something used. Stacks are going by the way these days and every place I go into that sells used gear has plenty of 4-12 cabinets going begging. Or you could just buy the 4-12 cabinet that goes with the Mustang 5 amp for $299 brand spanking new! JAT.

By the time you build a cabinet, cover it, build a baffle and install grill cloth, buy and install speakers, wire it - your buddy's gonna be in for a long haul. And don't forget the casters!
