Today`s younger generation is the generation of entitlement. What do you owe me, what can I have for free, all the time using their cell phones, ipads and what have you. Get out and find a job, nobody ever handed us anything. My father told me you want something go work for it you`ll respect a dollar and take care of your things better. And he was right.

I've had a job for ever 2 years. I'm 16 now. I got a job because I wasn't entitled to anything because my family wasn't really. The next thing I'm saving for is a car. There's a 73 Mustang in my neighborhood and I just got a promotion at work. (No, it's not in perfect condition, it's been sitting for a while, but my dad has taught me a bit about cars, and if I can't find a solution, there's always Google, but I've already decided I'm getting some upgrades with some stuff from Edelbrok 8) )

Aye, always loved the 73 body style for some reason. it's forest green with light tan leather on the inside. I hope it isn't too difficult to do, but you know how fixing up things like this can go

While those of us in my generation, (born towards the middle of last century) have what can be perceived as a good work ethic, I will not, because I cannot, lump all young people in a group. I do see that the majority seem to fit the above description, and there are some that are the best people I've been privileged to know.

It's always true that a group is judged by the most visual members. Is it fair to say that the whole should suffer? Take the time to get to know people around you, don't lower yourselves to the level of prejudice.

Lovely car. I just need to wait for my promotion to start. It starts in the middle of January. I'll see if I can contact the owners of that Mustang and work out everything.

Some years ago, a priest who was also a psychiatrist said "it."

Then at a management/success seminar, the well-known speaker repeated it verbatim. Wanted to scream, "NO!!!! IT CAN'T BE!!!!"

Thought on "it" for weeks afterward. Finally gave in. They were right.

"Everyone, everywhere, at every moment, is doing the best they can, based on their prevailing level of cosmic and spiritual awareness."
Some people are much, much more aware than others....

I survived the 60's. The hard way. People today just won't leave other people alone. They have to mess with everybody. Instant experts on everything too.
