I am a Special Warfare Boat Operator. I was with a Joint Special Operations Command task force. As such I can't really talk about anything for obvious reasons.

I will say however that I don't think we should be leaving so soon. They aren't quite there yet in terms of being able to support themselves. And I hate that more wasn't done to modernize their government and infrastructure. I wou;dn't be suprised to return there before too long.

Glad your back! I was just thinking today that it was this time 1967 that I returned from Viet Nam. Missed Tet Offensive by a couple of weeks, thank God.

Very nice to see you home safely. Lets hope that no one has to go back over there. You have more than done your part. Welcome home & Mary Christmas 8) Incidentally, I to was a Boat operator in the Military. 1964/70 I was a Coxswain on a LCM, An old WW2 vintage Landing Craft.
