Was browsing for an VOX AC4 and saw a banner regarding which States MF charges sales tax, and CA is not listed "again". Was there a big impact in sales when MF started charging sales tax to CA? I know, a couple of peeps from CA that stopped ordering from MF due to the sales tax charges and instead gone to sweetwater, zzounds and AMS for their business.

I'm not sure about California (isn't that a separate country now?), but I tried to place on order with MF last night and couldn't get the promo code to work, so I was prompted to call the 800 number, which I did. The rep I talked with was obviously not the sharpest knife in the drawer and when all was said and done, told me I would have to pay Iowa sales tax! I asked if he was sure and he said yes. I told him to cancel the order. If I want to pay the 7% sales tax, I can just drive across town and buy the damn guitar from GC!
