What songs take your mind away from the pain of your day to day world? Personally, anything by Sublime can do it, but more specifically Badfish and the solo from it. Just something about it that's calming in a strange way.

One of my personal favorites......

Plus it's some tasty-and-melodic Strat work by one of my most revered guitarists.

Arjay

Wow, Arjay, I distinctly remember my grandma playing that once or twice. I remembered the opening riff immediately.

When I first heard it, I thought it sounded like the Doobie Brothers.

Great tune!

Whenever we travel, she pops in one of her Creedence CDs. I love it. 8)

Wet Sand by RHCP seems to have really helped me out more than any other song the past couple of years... and still remains one of my favorites.

Disgusting dirty little songs make me feel better, is that sadistic of me?

Also, anything by the magic numbers.
