I was thinking i needed a new neck because I installed a roller nut myself and was convinced i effed it all up. Action was really high and lower frets produced grossly out of tuned cords. I "nutted up" and decided to attempt the repair myself. Lowered the nut about a whole 1/32", adjusted string height, set intonation, and adjusted truss rod. Its like i have a new guitar. Action is so much smoother and intonation is worlds better. Spot checked various frets for intonation and buzz and i'm in way better shape than i ever thought i'd be. Life is pretty good right now.

Good on ya :!: :!:

If you own a guitar you should know how to do a proper set up on it. I have been doing mine for 25+ years. Once you figure out the ins and outs it is really not that difficult, just takes time to make the adjustments and re-adjustments.

Think you might get it finished any time soon?

I love playing around with my setup almost as much as playing. I find it so relaxing. I'm very basic so seeing that you did a nut replacement is pretty impressive.
