I am aware of the one available on warmoth and im planning on making one for a birthday present to myself. But i never see anybody with tiger/rosebud style guitars. I think they look very nice and make a great tone. Is it because its harder to carve out?
And if there is another place they are sold i would be interested in looking at that.

Considering the fact that there would be a very small market for such an instrument (basically Deadheads) and and the cost to make such a body (the labor would be very intensive--according to one website, the body was made as thus: "Hippie Sandwich" of Cocobolo, Maple, Vermillion, Flame Maple, Vermillion, Maple, and Cocobolo, with brass binding and inlay), it's probably would not be cost-effective to have such a body in normal stock.

But that's just a guess...

cost is definitely a factor. the garcia tribute guitars out there are not cheap.

not saying they are not worth the price. it's just a little bit out my price range
