I don't like to be negative but that truly sounded terrible.If this is seriously what your playing is like the time is long overdue to change direction,throw the ghastly distortion pedal away and learn to tune a guitar to standard pitch and to play chords.Too many young players think that all guitar is about is doing some weird dropped pitch open tuning and wailing away-they're terribly mistaken and better be prepared to bum meals because that stuff won't put food on the table.
