Who's the coolest musician you have personally met?

Well I've never "impersonally" met anybody...

But as far as actually meet?

Jim Clench.

A toss up between Rory Gallagher and Willie Dixon. Because of their tremendous history and musical talent of course, but even more because of their genuine kindness and big smiles.

Jeroen Haamers of Batmobile is a very nice guy ,and one heck of a fellow Elvis fan so he's alright in my book. also P.Paul Fenech from the Meteors and I got along rather well. umm..... Sparky from Demented Are Go and I shared quite a few laughs and I absolutely love Chuck Harvey of Frantic Flintstones fame.Hung out with Mad Sin for a couple days and usually share a smile or 2 with Kim of Nekromantix/Horror Pops when they are my way.
if I could meet anybody I'd love to have a chance to play Merle Haggard a couple of my songs and get his opinion as I'm such a huge fan of his music, and that's how he got his start.

:D By far, Don Wilson of The Ventures. He was 70 years old when I finally met him 5 years ago, and that meeting confirmed what I had always thought, that he indeed was and is a cool guy. Saw him on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductions last week and he's still got it.

Tim McIlrath from Rise Against. A friend and I chatted with him at their signing booth a few years ago at Warped Tour. The chat was interesting enough to him that he asked us to step INTO their tent, and we later got some stage passes.

I've also met and jammed with Gary Nichols a few times. He's a local guy, hopefully he's going to make it soon.

Fly back to the East coast from Burbank sitting next to Bonnie Raitt.
Her band were all in the adjacent seats. That was fun. She signed an autograph for me..."It was fun being up this high with you."
