Although Setzer covered this Louie Armstrong song, Buster Poindexter gets my vote.

My favourites are John Denver doing The Coventry Carol from his Rocky Mountain Christmas which of course contains the corny tearjerker: Please Daddy Don't Get Drunk This Christmas.Emmy Lou Harris's The Stable Light is a great album especially her version of Away in a Manger and Angel Eyes(not the Jeff Healy song lol). The Christmas In My Heart album by Connie Francis is a timeless classic, her version of Ave Maria will give you goosebumps it's that incredible as is her Adeste Fideles.

How about Johnny and Edgar Winter - Please Come Home for Christmas.

Come to think of it, this is the only Christmas song I can tolerate. Edgar's back-up vocals take me back to the golden era of Motown.

Fairytale of New York - The Pogues
Merry Xmas (War Is Over) - John Lennon
Snowflake - Kate Bush (album track)
December Will Be Magic Again - Kate Bush
I Believe in Father Xmas - Greg Lake
Santa Baby - Kylie Minogue (But only if it's the video..)

Christmas tunes that should be deleted from every MP3 player:

Merry Xmas Everybody - Slade
I Wish It Could Be Xmas Every Day - Roy Wood/Wizard
Lonely This Xmas - Mud (Elvis is dead guys, get over it..)
Anything at all relating to xmas that was ever recorded by Paul McCartney..
Anything at all relating to anything that was ever recorded by Shaking Stevens..
The whole Motown Xmas album..

Phil Spector's Christmas album. (Darlene Love, Ronettes, The Crystals, etc)

Magnificent!

I kinda like Aaron Neville's version of "Please Come Home For Christmas".
....but I also kinda like the Eagles version, too. Henly slays the "blue note" and Felder kills it for just a few measures...

...and then Ritchie Blackmore goes back to the 16th century for this one :

Something that I absolutely hate to the point I have to leave the store if I'm shopping is anything that Boney M does especially Mary's Boy Child.I abhored them anyway but when they put their efforts into Christmas Carols that finished it for me.
