I have a copy of it, great stuff. I saw him in the 80's in a small club in Phila called the Chestnut Cabaret. I was two feet away from him and it was a religious experience.

He amazed me. I know someone who backed him up and he said he was really hard to follow because he would change chords and rhythm whenever he felt like it.

Back in 1970 I hitch-hiked from Toronto to Windsor to see John Lee in this ratty bar...the upside was I asked if I could sit in with him as his backup bass and drums left much to be desired. To my amazement he sais come back tomorrow night and no problem. I then hitched back to T.O. picked up my guitar and turned around and hitched back to Windsor. As sure to his word John Lee let me sit in for his last two sets and it still is one of the highlights of my performing life. R.I.P. John Lee
