Wow...this thread went really wrong really fast (lol).

My wife's usual rant is, "You want to buy another (insert guitar or guitar gear here)." In which my reply is, "Yeah, but at least I only have 1 lover, and no expensive mid-life crissis vehicals in the driveway." She just laughs.

I was smart this last time I asked her for something. I was going to build a guitar from parts made at the Warmoth company. We sat down and went over all my options and specs. One thousand eight-hundred or so dollars worth of parts later, she reluctantly signed off on it. A couple weeks later, I told her I could get virtually the same guitar (minus really cool paint job) for $1000 dollars less. A look of "Thank God" came over her face and said that was definately a better idea.

They get used to it huh....I reckon mine has started to like the 5 guitars and amps and pedals and leads, Drum kit, Bass rig.......I reckon she thinks its pretty cool after years of havin let go's about the state of out lounge room/Studio....
