My amp came in the mail today! I ordered a Marshall MS-2 a little while ago and it just came.

Image Notice the monster halfstack in the background...

Anyways, this thing feels sturdy. Much sturdier than any other micro amp I've played around with, but maybe that's just me. It also looks killer. You can't beat the classic stack look.

I'll be judging the sound later. I don't have a 9V battery or AC adapter.

its fun to lay those flat on a hardwood floor and crank them to 11. they dance with the music

Wow! Really? Is it because of the belt clip on the back? Also, I put the head on my halfstack on 3 this morning (I was out of school  time to be loud) and it was shooting waves of air/vibration at me (best way to describe it) Even though the controls are really weird, it still sounds good.

nah its because its so light and the weight of the speaker cone causes it to vibrate really bad. so it buzzes across hard flat surfaces.

I would think the belt clip would help, considering how springy it is.

I can't take that monster to school. It's just impractical for a situation like that. Imagine how I'd look with that clipped to my belt and tell me I'm wrong.

Those little Marshalls are great,I have the MS-4 full stack and it sounds great-lots of crunch.

It's killing me. I need a 9V now.
