guys what would you like to see the FMIC to put into production next year? it could be any company in the FMIC not only fender...

it's squiers 30th aniversary next year and i'd like a lot to be done with squier first off i'd like to see the cyclone back as a production model... (i can't get an FSR in europe :( ) i'd also like to see more colour options on the tele custom and jagmaster guitars... and how about continuing the original jazzmaster and jaguar designs?... bring in a squier mustang model instead of the cyclone if you guys think it's necessary... i'd also like to see a 72 deluxe on the vintage modified series or the classic vibe series and new colour options for the strats and teles (and jazz basses and precision basses) in the vintage modified series and the classic vibe series (the original finishes are getting kinda old to me)

besides squier i guess i'd like to see another fender mustang model a little more cheaper than the two in production i can't really complain with the rest :D they nailed it with the modern player guitars... and as for jackson, bring back the inferno red finish (for the dk 2 dinky) and absinthe frost finish (in general cause metalic green rocks)

so how bout you guys?

I'd like to see an affordable late '60s MIM re-issue Strat from Ensenada -- and available in more than merely three boring finishes. Likewise, the Classic Player Jazzmaster could benefit from some additional factory color selections. And I'd be interested (to the point of actually writing a check) in a blackface AA864 Vibrolux Reverb re-issue.

Bring back the Fender XII or at least the Strat XII.Of course the Fender/Rhodes electric piano would be a welcome addition.

I'd like to see an affordable MIM Strat XII and an affordable MIM Bass VI (the old six-string bass/baritone of the 1960's)...

Lungimsam just reminded me-speaking of Guild-Guild should reissue the S-100-NB as it was a true S.G.- Les Paul slayer. The pickups of the S-100 were capable of the raunchiest metal tones when put through a cranked JCM900 but through an old Fender Bassman or Super Reverb etc. it could ring out the warmest jazz tones or great classic rock tones.

FMIC really doesn't have anything now that can go toe to toe with the S.G. and the Les Paul and come near to them let alone come out on top.The S-100 had a body very much like the S.G. but was just a little bit offset on the top horn-just enough to notice..It would behoove FMIC to put this little gem back into the ring again, with the great action and fabulous pickups they could have a winner on their hands.

ralfcaetano, all of those suggestions are excellent. I just wanted to add that the number of guitar and amplifier companies that Fender has taken under it's corporate wing has increased to more than a few wonderfully innovative guitar and amp manufacturers some of which if not all have favorite guitars and amps of mine. There are many Fender guitars and amps that I am still looking forward to playing and perhaps even owning one day but for a little extra excitement how about a new one of these to go along with a new Sunn:
Imageor this with a new "Clapton" amp Imagecan you tell that the possibilities now are hmm, yes, for us anyway, courtesy of Fender corp. the sky is the limit 8)

I'd like to see back the Guild electrics - the Starfires, the Bluesbirds... all of them.
Fender Rhodes piano is a long shot since Rhodes Music Corporation is alive, but it would be great.
