I just sort of picked up, plugged in, and played, and this is what came out of it. I don't know how I could apply these in the future, but the second one sounds like a superhero themesong or something.

Both of those clips could be from a late 60's/early 70's stoner flick. Believe it or not, that's a compliment.

Now, TUNE YOUR GUITAR, and build upon those ideas...both are cool intros for a song. Make up a chord progression, add some bass and drums and let fly.

I do have sort of a mini book of simple riffs. All of them have a grungey sound. I'll probably get into writing a bit more over break. I just wouldn't know how to fit those two pieces in. Thanks though.
