I was wandering if there was any way I could hook my laptop up to my fender bass amplifier to play music out of it. And also would there be any danger to the amp or my laptop?

I think it would be friken rad to blast pink floyd, massive attack and camel through the house. :P

I know that on my Line 6 Lowdown I have a mp3/cd jack to plug in a music source to play along with. The limitations of a bass amp do affect the sound though...most of the treble is a little muddy, not as true as a real stereo, but as long as you carefully adjust the input volume to not overdrive the amp, and bring up the master volume carerully you should be able to try it.

If your amp doesn't have a cd in then you'll probably need an adaptor to go from the 1/8" stereo cord to the 1/4" end that'll plug in. Available at a Radio-trash nearby I'd think.
