John Mayall was in town yesterday, what a night. All the boomers sitting there were like teenagers again and the hole show was a blast. Sorry for the poor picture, it's the only one I got.

Hi there Bill, yup sir it was a great show and we had the surprize to meet the man himself at the door for a surprize autograph session. They played like for almost two hours and the crew was tight and the sound was great. And wow the man can still play the harp at his age, I was stunned. Everyone that left the house last night had a big smile on his face.
Claude.

Lucky you Claude,John Mayall was responsible for launching the careers of many of our great rock stars who are household names today yet he has always been content it seems to sit at the sidelines despite making such a huge contribution to rock music. Glad you enjoyed the concert but then again who wouldn't?

Claude you are one lucky man! Mayalls contribution to the history of Rock and Roll and the Blues cannot be underestimated. The guy is a true genious if not just for his ability to find great musicians and then motivate them to unreal heights!

Which one of the old geezers is John?
Joking....I'm almost as old....I sat with the Beano album for a couple of years copping licks way back when....I'm glad he's still out there making music.

I'm on the left, and at 54, I think I was the youngest in the building.
