Well i just sold my Fender HR DeVille 212 about a hour ago, I kinda feel bad, but I never really use it. I took in in on trade for a Vox AC15C1 and I got the 6 bills I wanted so looking for some gear ideas. Most likely pedals, right now I have a RP500, and a Boss DD-7 Delay running through my Egnater Renegade with the 212 ext cab. I have 2 strats so I'm set on guitars,(yeah right) and I play alot of Floyd and Gilmour stuff. Now lets hear your ideas. Oh yeah, and I don't plan on spending all 6, most likely 2-3 hundred.
So let the games begin!!!!!!

You should actually start a build, so you can have a guitar with everything you want on it. That's just what I'd do :P

For about $300 you can get an Electro Harmonix POG and if you're into Gilmour type stuff that would be right up your alley.Just go to the E-H site and listen to the demos of the POG-they'll blow you away. http://www.ehx.com

For about $250 you can get the TECH21NYC RotoChoir which is the most realistic Leslie simulator out there today. It has controls that emulate both the rotary horns as well as the rotating woofer drum and that's something that none of the others have. http://www.tech21.com/

I've been checking the lower end of the price spectrum pedals recently just for a change up and have been pleasantly surprised by the functionality of Danelectro and Valco pedals. Before you make any decisions newwt check out their sites if you have a little time there may even be some YT links there so you can hear what I'm referring to. As with any pedal, the users knowledge of what the pedal can do and how to get the best out of it, placement in the pedal order, can be more important than price/brand name etc.

Wow, if I had a few hundred $'s to blow on my guitar gear, what would I do? Excellent question! .....no guitars or amps huh? Well, if you're looking for sounds, different pedals, etc. I love my Boss GT-8, so I would recommend one. I can get some great sounds and tone out of mine....also, it helps to run it through a good tube amp. Single pedals? Bad Monkey.....look it up. Then buy one. Great pedal. I agree with the other poster that the danelectro pedals are better than I thought. Some do lack the tone I'm looking for, but as he said, you can tweak the hell out of anything. I'd probably get on Craigslist and buy at least a few nice pedals. They're always out there and with that kind of change, you could get a decent pedal board going as long as you don't mind used pedals.

Kind of looking at a OCD pedal, and maybe a pickup for my acoustic.

OK, so heres what happend this weekend. I stopped by a small musicstore about 10 miles from my house just to see what he had. Well about 30 min. later I walked out with a older DOD FX80B Compressor/Sustainer, a Digitech X Series Hyper Phase, a new EH LPB-1 Booster, and a 1 Spot Muiti. Power Supply(up to 8 pedals). But I guess that just wasn't enough, I then went online and ordered a EH Memory Boy, a EH Double Muff Nano Distorion Pedal, and a Boss BD-2 Overdrive and Distortion Pedal. Boy I've got issues, SERIOUS ISSUES. Once every thing is in and hooked up I'll post pictures. Merry Christmas to me.

Hi Newt, you don't have any serious issues, you're just like the rest of us afflicted with GAS.As far as I'm concerned it's money well spent.

What color was the tuck-and-roll, chef?

(I was always partial to the blue sparkle)
