170 posts in 14 days ... in my wildest dreams I can't possibly think of how I could ever post 12 times in a single day let alone average 12 times a day for two solid weeks and the best part is ... not a single one of those posts has anything legitimate to say.

Buddy? ... or Bee-atch which ever you really are, because I'm not buying the dumb stupid kid routine, I have added you to my ignore list ... maybe you won't take a hint and get off our board but I'm taking matters into my own hands and taking you off my board.

In the same way television campaigns around the world make pleas to their viewers I am challenging EVERYONE here to add him to their ignore list. If the mods won't do something about him, we can. We will.

Yes, this has gone way beyond funny. This forum is becoming a joke.
The other guy is not much better with over 16 posts per day - slightly different methods with the same motivation - "Hey look at me".
These kids need their own forum. I don't like to censor my viewing but you're right, the ignore button is the only answer. I'm probably on their foe lists by now anyway.
No doubt they'll drop by this thread soon.

I'm there!

He'll join several other notorious-and-mischievious miscreants already so ignored

How do ya do it? I'm getting to the point I don't enjoy reading here anymore because of this TOOL.

In the same way that you don't shut yourself up in your house because of moments in the real world that exasperate you...

To be Fair....though at this point even though I've tried to answer the Malmsteen Q with a reasonable reply it is becoming more and more pointless since as soon as I posted a reply,
his latest thread was off the wall once again, my suspicion is growing that he is on a permanent Walkabout....So BMW-KTM's solution may have to be considered...

G'day newwt, If you're asking how to ignore a certain poster, just click on the name in the author column and then ''add foe'' and it's done.

Yeah mate ,I went through a few phases with the kid. Anger, a few days ago I was finding him hilarious (the situation at least). Now I have reached the ignore stage.
This could go on for a while as he starts new threads and different people react. In the last 48 hours he's started about 10, plus he derails just about every other thread. The really smart ones on here have ignored him from the start, but it's hard not to take the bait sometimes.
Now you'll just see his name appear and peoples reactions. :)

That doofus is on my foe list, but sometimes I just have to look and see if the posts are as ridiculous as always...and yeah, they're getting worse.
I played music till 2:30 this morning in a smoky bar in Redneck Tn.,those kids will never know that experience,or the experience of actually becoming a musician who strives to advance in life to become someone who could teach younger people the ups and downs of learning your craft and being worthy of the name,"guitarist".

I just went to You-Tube and went thru a couple of his Vids....

Oddly the age in his profile say 26, but the kid in the Vids is definitely not 26...16-17 max. maybe.
If you torture yourself enough to watch a few of his vids...I could not sit thru an entire one...I truly suspect we are dealing with a kid who has Cognitive Disorders..
I am not a Doctor, Psychologist, Psychoanalyst or have any of the required qualifications to be able to diagnose anyone.

However Having spent a few years coaching kids in both Ski Racing and Cycling.
In addition to having a brother in law who suffers from Down Syndrome, my personal guess is that MIss-SRV / Strat-O-Tele / 1FenderGuy is really a problem well beyond any of our capabilities to deal with.....
From the vids I cannot be certain of his home life but it would appear ( and this is only conjecture on my part ) that he is left to his own world for a large amount of time....
No other way can I explain someone posting as much as he does on so many different avenues.
I have posted myself a few replies not so pleasant but in retrospect I do not believe any longer that we are actually dealing with anyone who is able to rationalize his actions....

Probably the best from now on is to ignore the inane post...
But to reply on the one's that are what this Forum is about....
It is a Community and ostracising someone because they cannot help themselves puts us at Fault.
If you wish not to reply at all that is also fine, but calling him a Tool is like the proverbial Fan ( and I'm not referring to the Fan on the table vid he initially posted...  )
It all blows back in our faces...

So a little patience and perhaps a bit more compassion and tolerance from us all ( myself included ) will at the very least leave us where we should be and MIssSRV..... :?: :?:
Well we cannot change the world....

I would appreciate any constructive feedback to contribute to this thread and if MissSRV is reading....Do Not Contribute....

I hear what your saying 53Mag and I too have attempted to deal with him compassionately.
I'm not fully convinced though regarding the "can't help himself" theory. In fact when he appeared in his latest incarnation and was put on notice by the administrator (Brad), his posts became few and relatively sensible. This leads me to think he may be a front for an older prankster or he could be some kind of evil genius
Either way, I'm done reacting.

Goodonya

So then...Who is the kid in the video... :?: ...
His younger brother who has been roped into believing that he is a part of the Fender Forum and You Tube Community, unknowingly being the Joke, sort of like the Rain Man character...
There's no denying that the kid in the vids is not connecting the dots on a level that a truly serious young musician would. From that standpoint the playing is very basic beginner..

I see your point and I can only surmise that this is the actual scenario.
Your younger brother has cognitive disabilities, playing guitar is his outlet for pleasure Look I can be creative...Who on this Forum does not fit that reasoning..( we all play because it is a truly fascinating way to self worth and the reinforcement of creative processes.)
So you film your younger brother, post threads for him, basically become the Puppet-Master.

I hope I'm wrong for if that is the reality... :?: it is incredibly Creepy, Obscene, pretty much as repulsive of a idea as one can get.....Not at all humorous...
I would think at this point it is criminal behavior if that is the case....

I did see a couple of the You Tubes Vids were quite virulent as far as language, there is a thread elsewhere which repeats the language so I won't repeat it here but that does not seem
as it fits so that is another red flag asking what is really going on here... :?: :?:

Dunno mate, I don't really think it's that sinister and I'd say it's all his own work. He's probably not as silly as we think though.
None of us here are qualified in this field, which is why I'm becoming one of the ignorers.
I'll watch the reactions with interest.

I just added him to my foes list. The kid is a kid with way too much time on his hands. He needs to get a life. I won't be feeding him any more.

53Mag, I feel ya, bro. I have wanted to help in the past. I sort of extended an olive branch to the other doofus who's been here longer but that went sideways and I ended up ignoring him too. This one however is beyond reaching. The fantastical claims are just too preposterous for words to describe sometimes but even that is not the real issue in my view. I am really starting to become righteously indignant with the sly way he wriggles around stuff and how he tries to paint respected members as trolls simply for questioning some ridiculous statement. If this truly is just some poor SOB kid locked away in a room somewhere he is certainly intelligent enough to know what he's doing. All of his posts are so carefully constructed to extract the maximum amount of reaction he can get and the skillful way he decides which criticism to ignore and which he can twist around into an accusation ... no ... I will feel no empathy for this one. Ostracising him is the only alternative in my opinion.
