The Beatles '1962-66' and '1967-70' collections on vinyl, at about the time these albums first came out. I played them to death!

First album - Loving You by Elvis Presley - the soundtrack from the movie of the same name - 1957.

Many singles in late 1956 - first one - who can remember that

My mother used to buy me 45-EP albums of music from Broadway shows - they were my first real intro in listening to music.

45 rpm - "Classical Gas" by Mason WIlliams.

The first LP I bought with my own money is kind of hazy... Benefit by Lethro Tull, maybe... Deja Vu by CSN&Y, possibly... maybe Tumbleweed Connection by Elton John. Those were all in there.

The first albums I owned were on cassette, gifts from my cousin Laurie: Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road.

Twisted Sister

:: I bow my head in shame ::

I actually ended up with 2 copies, but I don't remember why.

My second album was Van Halen 1984 which my little sister traded away for Cory Hart.... There are some good reasons to disown sisters.

45 RPM After Midnight Eric Clapton 1970 I only remember that because me and my brother and his friends pooled our change and it was my job to buy the record, but I got it mixed up and they told me I got the wrong one! Still can’t remember what record I was supposed to be buying... but I liked that one… I didn’t get in trouble because they actually liked it a lot after they heard it
Can’t remember what LP  as I didn’t actually do a lot of shopping myself for awhile…kidding  just can’t remember...youngest of 4 and we all played/listened to a lot music so maybe I just borrowed a lot of records … :P
8 trackFly Like An Eagle – Steve Miller Band, 1976 Remember because we wore the thing out that summer! I still have the LP :D
