I bought U2's Under a Blood Red Sky when I was 11. I saw the Sunday Bloody Sunday video on MTV and had to have it. Since then, every U2 album slowly got worse for me.

Hello Nick Dj,

My first record album, as best I can recall
was Blind Faith. But it may have been
Wheels of Fire by Cream.

Cheers.

45RPM of the Rolling Stones "Satisfaction". I was maybe 7. My Mom and Dad had already handed down several albums to me and my brother, but that was the first music I bought with my own dough.

Adam Ant "Freind or Foe"-First Tape
SRV "In Step"/Rush 2112 -First CD (bought them at the same time, but I picked out SRV first).

The first song I ever remember hearing (and is still one of my favorites) "Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald" by Lightfoot. My mother had an astonishing collection that included Yes, The Beatles etc. The first one I ever bought on my own was "Hotel California" by The Eagles.

AC/DC - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap = First record. A friends' older brother was playing it, and once I heard "Big Balls" I knew I had to have that album.

Mine was either a cassete of REM's Automatic For The People when I was 5(my parents have bought it for me, I don't remember) or The Beatles Please Please Me on CD when I was 9 or 10

I remember having my mom buy me a Bee Gee's best hits compilation when I was really little.

I think the first album I ever bought with my own money was Axis: Bold As Love by The Jimi Hendrix Experience. And what a great buy it was.
