I don't find too many forums where people are. Ive got a '69 mustang bass and a Bassman ten combo amp myself. I can attach photos if anyone is interested in seeing them lol.

I also run a small blog http://freakishlyfender.blogspot.com/ all about weird fender stuff. I'm a bassist myself so a lot of if is about their weird bass stuff. Anyone have any suggestions on what to post?

(also sorry if you can't post blogs here, I didn't see anything in the rules stating you can't, and its 100% fender related)

I love the Fender Bassman Ten.
That is one of the two items/instruments that I formerly had that I wish I had back (dang mortgage payments!)

Great guitar and harp amp, good keyboard amp, decent bass amp and in a pinch, it makes for a vocals amp/PA system.
It also makes for a fine nightstand when you're 21 years old and living in a house with no furniture!

But for some reason the Lady Armadillo didn't see the attractiveness of that particular utility and banished it to the Lair of the Screamin' Armadillo after her coronation and entry into the home...some women have no taste! :?

As far as strange Fender-related things, I have a very small collection of Fender belt buckles, I love those.

Cool "pile" of amps there!

What I really like are the tshirts with the Fender "fine electric instrument" logos on them. Had two but I wore the life out of them.

Liking your blog, surprised to see your summation that Fender bass amps "suck." But I do play through Line 6 for my Strat /75 watt spider and for my bass /300 watt Lowdown. Love those amps.

I plan on doing an article on the bassman ten soon actually, considering I own one
Did you see what I wrote about the Bantam bassman? Its almost the same amp, just with the weird trapezoid speaker.

I bought the Bassman ten to use as a bass amp, but its absolutely terrible for that use, no bass at all. But it is an outstanding guitar amp, especially with the channels bridged

Just fine. In standby, each of the amps only draws about .75 amperes. And the room is wired directly to the load center with its own dedicated 20A service circuit.

I had this gourgous 71 jazz neck at one point too, I actually traded it for the bassman ten. Someone ripped the frets out, otherwise Id bolt it to my bass lol
