Hello, "Fear Empire" is the first group from Ukraine, which in the 90s played progressive rock with a slant to Ukrainian folklore in the style.I played in this group, my friend recently found these records, made at our concerts in 1995–96, on TV. We tried to invent our own style and relied on classical music. Progressive rock was just beginning to develop in Eastern Europe, in Ukraine, very few people knew about the existence of the Dream Theater. We were inspired by the work of King Diamond, Alfred Schnittke and Ukrainian folklore.

Welcome to the Forum(s) slavasg. Canada has the third largest Ukrainian population outside of the Ukraine and Russia (approximately 1.5 million) of which the largest gathering of 98,000 live in my city.

Your video was very good and it would not surprise me if there are fans right here in Canada that have heard or seen you and your band. :D
Thanks, for posting slavasg, and thanks for riding shotgun on those videos, SBLS.

Thanks, for the post SBLS. Chris Cornell’s vocals (Soundgarden), and Rage Against the Machine members made Audioslave rock. Unfortunately, considered one of Rock’s great vocalists, Chris was declared a suicide by hanging victim.

Paying homage to the First Nation people, this is one of their greatest contributions in music - The Band’s great Robbie Robertson:

The whole album is great piece of art.

A good video that I haven't seen/heard before FSB. Thank you.
Here is a breakthrough (at the time) band with a killer (pun) song

You should listen to Emmerson, Lake, and Palmer. They're a great prog rock band!

Welcome to the Forum RSWRecording. I saw ELP in 74 at the Empire Pool, Wembley. Dynamic band.
Here is a band from the same era, the beginning of metal prog me thinks.

You’re right about UH being there in the beginning, SBLS. Around ‘69 for them.

King Crimson. These cats hit the scene around ’68. Speaking of Greg Lake:
