Merry Christmas from prog rock, I like the sound this band used for this song, the silly dancing imp made me smile

The American Doom Metal scene started in the early 80's in the mid-west, Trouble influenced everyone in a heavy metal kind of way. Here is the lead singer's new band, The Skull - Trapped Inside My Mind (For Those Which Are Asleep 2014)

I would agree with you,
BUT
I simply cannot stand Geddy Lee's singing.
Nails on a chalkboard.
What, is he singing outside his range or something?

Yeah, I'm in the "I love Rush" category myself, but Rush is very polarizing. You either love 'em or hate 'em. Very little in between.

because I missed Elvis b-day on january 8, thought that Frank's Elvis inspired satire song (I read this somewhere I think) would be an inappropriate but heartfelt offering for the king. R.I.P. EP:

A Prog curiosity. Pat Thrall's guitar sound is pretty sweet. Michael Shrieve on drums. Bayete on vox and keys. Doni Harvey on bass (hijacked from a band recording in the adjacent studio).

I gotta say that I'm very much in-between when it comes to Rush.

Never thought they were Bad... but never thought they were Great either.

Though I enjoy listening to some of their work, I think of them as just another Journeyman group filling out the Rock/Pop spectrum.

Certainly not equal to the ticket prices for their upcoming Tour. Still, I bet it'll be a good show.

cheers!
