I just ordered one of those Fender Stop Dreaming and Start playing packs for my 9 year old granddaughter. Her White strat comes with a white pearl pick guard that I think looks pretty nice (see the photo). I thought what the heck, I will put a white pearl pick guard on my white MIM strat too. Anyone happen to know the best source for this pick guard. I found this one BUT I am unsure if it is the same.

I've used WD pickguards in the past and in every instance they were a perfect, drop-on fit. Not so with all aftermarket parts, especially Allparts.

You might also take a look at the genuine Fender accessory pickguards. IIRC, your MIM standard uses the same screw pattern as the AmStd Strat.

Best of luck, HTH

Arjay

Thanks for the input Retroverbial and phreddybee. I am looking forward to swapping the pick guard out. Too bad they don't make Volume and Tone knobs to match!

I have bought from WD and the pictures were very accurate with what I received, looked great and fit well.

I also bought from jeannie pickguards, and that one fit very well too. That was a gray pearl. http://home.comcast.net/~pickguards/home.htm
