Yeah, it is a shame. After 40 years I never stop learning. There's always someone to learn from young and old alike. With the Blues band I'm with now, the other guitarist is a phenomenal rhythm player. Way more knowledgeable than myself. He teaches me very cool chord patterns, and I teach him as he calls it "lead guitar from the depths of the soul". Actually I consider myself as getting the better end of that stick.

I'm playing with my son's band,he is an awesome guitarist and we swap leads,I find myself really having fun playing chords in every position I can while he's soloing,you can really get a good driving rhythm section going with the bass and drums....you're so right,we can always learn from good musicians.

I've pretty successfully avoided reading or commenting on any of their ridiculous posts (or the rare one-in-a-hundred good posts), but the Forum is littered with their stupidity, and it's hard to scan across the screen without tripping over a pile of dumbass they've left in the way.

Both Buxom and Strat o tele are among that unfortunate group of people who are too dim to realize that they are completely lacking in intelligence.Consequently they are too cerebrally numb to realize too that it's them that's creating and perpetuating this problem in the forum.It is almost impossible to have an intelligent and thought provoking thread without one or God forbid both of them putting in their vacuous insipid drivel or worse still derailing the thread by insulting and bickering with each other.Time for both of them to either take a hike or grow up real fast.They could learn a lot from studying the posts of Superkid and Riley McC two of our youngest members but way way ahead of the aforementioned two in intelligence and maturity.
