Long ago Guitar...Nightmare to use in a live setting, or at least so complicated that the audience usually tired of the guitarist programming instead of playing.
That said in the studio is a whole other world...

But not sure why the OP posted Here..
I don't recall too many threads on MIDI Guitars recently...

Hi Allen, you've been a stranger,I see that you still haven't invested in a Rosetta Stone series of Cds and books, until then I doubt that anyone here could be of much help. What it seems to be you're saying is that you have 2 Midi ready guitars and one has a 21 pin patch chord and the other has a 13 pin patch chord and a technician told you that they both wouldn't be compatable with your setup.Did I get that part of it right? If that is the case someone may be of some helpp to you with suggestions.

I had one of those beasts. It pretty much sucked. A buddy was pitching it and gave it to me. The latency was horrible. Hit a note and a half an hour it would come out. There are so many nice guitar synths out there, why mess with a dinosaur. I traded mine for a used Ibanez Artcore AS73. That should give you an idea of what they"re worth. The 700 was a decent playing guitar, but that big handle annoyed me.
